Saddle Consignment

1. Review our form above. You can print and complete a copy to have ready, or you can fill out a blank copy in-store after you arrive. If you have more than 5 saddles, we ask that you reach out to us (text preferred) at 803-989-6093 to confirm what time you plan on stopping by as a courtesy to our Sales Associates. We do need a contract for each saddle being consigned. 
   
   
2. Be sure to remove any extras you do not plan on consigning like leathers and irons. If you do wish to consign those items, they need to be listed on a miscellaneous consignment form. 
   
   
3. Try to have your saddle(s) in the best condition possible. Any saddles in need of extra cleaning and/or conditioning will incur fees. 

Steps to Ship your Consignment Saddle(s) to our Storefront:

1. Review our form above. Print and complete a copy for each saddle being consigned, then place inside of the saddle box(es). Clients can also complete the contract electronically and send to aikentackexchange@gmail.com. 
   
   
2. Any items in need of extra cleaning and/or conditioning will incur fees.
   Try to have your saddle(s) cleaned and oiled (if applicable). We recommend researching proper cleaning methods from the manufacturer if you are unsure of the necessary care instructions. 
   
   
3. Box your saddle(s) pommel down, wrapped in bubble wrap. We also recommend wrapping in a brand new XL trash bag to act as a waterproof layer. 
   
   
4. Bring your boxes to UPS or FedEx and ship to our storefront as addressed below. You can also use websites like PirateShip.com for discounted shipping labels to print and place prior to dropping off at your local carrier.
