Miscellaneous Consignment Info

1. Photos of potential consignment can be submitted to either our store cell (803-989-6093) or email (AikenTackExchange@gmail.com).  After the photos and information have been reviewed, we will agree on an appointment time for items to be dropped off. Review our Miscellaneous Consignment form above. While a complete item list is not required, it is recommended for your own records. 
   
   
2. Any items in need of extra cleaning and/or conditioning will incur fees.
   Try to have your item(s) in the best condition possible (i.e. tack cleaned and oiled, horse blankets washed, clothing/apparel clean and stain-free). We recommend researching proper cleaning methods from the manufacturer of your item(s) if you are unsure of the necessary care instructions. We complete various leather repairs in house and are able to repair certain items prior to consignment (prices TBD with office via phone after consignment drop off) however, we do ask that no items valued at less than $25.00 are consigned if they are in need of repair. Clothing with significant stains and/or blemishes will not be accepted.
   
3. i.e.: Girths should not have visible dirt, hair, sweat, etc. Avoid any tack, horse boots, blankets, etc. that have dry-rotted areas, heavy odor, multiple repairs, or are missing main pieces/components. Beginning in 2026, clothing should be in brand new, like new, or lightly used condition.

Steps to Ship your Miscellaneous Items(s) to our Storefront:

1. Review our form above. Clients can also complete the contract electronically and send to aikentackexchange@gmail.com.

3. Bring your box(es) to UPS/FedEx/USPS and ship to our storefront as addressed below. You can also use websites like PirateShip.com for discounted shipping labels to print and place prior to dropping off at your chosen carrier.
